We help people who help animals feel better.

By addressing the emotional and mental health needs of the wonderful people who work in this field, we aim to enhance their overall well-being and effectiveness in animal rescue efforts.

Our Founder

While I’ve been a business owner almost my entire working life (mostly in industrial sales), a severe brain injury sustained in a major car accident in 1994 provided a new training ground for re-learning much of what had been easy for me to do previously.  With this injury though my interest turned, from my standard diet of achievement and success principles, to the mechanics of the brain and how it operates on a neurological level and the mind-body connection.  With certifications in educational kinesiology and neurolinguistic programming (NLP), emotional freedom technique (EFT-ADV) and PSYCH-K, I returned to (mostly) a more traditional business path.

I was always working for the day when I could finance an exit to do what I really wanted to do – help rescue animals and help the people who rescue them.  February 2020 (completely outside of Covid) life changed in a big way and now, here I am – bringing all my years of business building, courses and certifications, fostering, volunteering and love of 4-legged furry friends to one place called ‘Pawsitively Speaking’.

I’ll be rolling out my ideas and services as we go and yet this platform ‘Tapping to the Rescue’ is probably the most heartfelt thing I have ever done. It’s an opportunity for me to support the brave individuals who tackle tasks that are beyond the scope of ‘can do’ for someone like me.  My heart is not big enough to hold the gratitude and appreciation I have for you! ❤️
